The Gilda Compression Hand Corker is very similar to the floor models . You simply add a cork and compress the handle push the lever and the cork goes in. Having a friend hold the bottle makes it easier. It has an adjustable depth setting .

E C Kraus Gilda Compression corker

IF you don’t have a lot of room for large floor corkers and are only corking a few bottles then you should go with this Gilda model.
This is a great design and uses a 4 piece Iris that pushes the cork equally from four different directions.
It requires some efforts. It has a an adjustable depth setting . It is recommended that you use size 9 straight corks. Other sizes work too. It costs about 40$. Click here to see the price at amazon.
